Ever have trouble getting to the bottom of a doe-foot lip gloss gloss or concealer tube?

Grrr. |
The hot-water trick never really works that well for me for cleaning off the bottom and sides of the tube, so I came up with an easier way to reach the remnants:
- Take out the stopper first, if you haven't already. (It's usually rubber, and can thus easily be popped out by hand or with a blade.)
- Wipe off the end of the applicator.
- Take a piece of masking or other tape. Wrap it around the bottom of the applicator, and fold it up at the end.
- Stick the applicator back in and swirl.

VoilĂ , enjoy the rest of your gloss! No need to pay for an expensive custom makeup spatula.
Plus, you can still use the same tube this way, instead of transferring to a separate cup that you have to dip your filthy mortal fingers into, like a lot of the hot-water tutorials recommend.
